My goal for all my clients is to love the hair you are given. Whether it is straight, wavy, curly, or anything in-between, I want to find what works best for you and your lifestyle.
I was lucky enough to jump into the curly hair world and dry haircutting in 2009, and never looked back. Training with the original DevaCurl Curly Girl Method, and Rëzo Cut/Rëzo Lites Certification. I am always looking and continuing education for the best way to enhance your natural texture, whether it's by cut or color enhancement.

Hi! I’m Melissa Sanchez, Curly Hair Specialist and Co-Owner of Mane 38.
My passion is helping you feel more confident with your natural texture and finding a routine that fits your lifestyle. It’s my goal that when you leave my chair, you’ll leave with all the knowledge, tips and tricks to help you recreate the style at home.
I’ve been in the hair industry since 2010, and started my curly hair training in 2015 with DevaCurl. Certified in the Rezo Cut/Rezo Lites and have continued taking curly classes to apply and adapt what I learn to match my client’s hair, needs and lifestyles. Curls are my specialty, but I love all hair textures and provide services in Color, Updos, Extensions & Brazilian Blowouts.

I'm an energetic, enthusiastic, and creative stylist with over 25 years experience. My focus is on edgy fashion, design cutting, dimensional color, smoothing/keratin treatments, body waves/perms & special occasion hair. I'm innovative with hairpieces & clip-in extensions. Professional growth through advanced education is a priority. Experienced with styling hair for fashion shows, commercials, and print work, as well as volunteering my services for charitable events. Making my guests look & feel good about themselves is my passion!
